Tundra Proving Ground is a new company, but the people behind it have extensive and successful history in the field of automotive winter testing in Finnish Lapland. With Tundra, we know that we can offer the best and most efficient solutions for winter testing - be it cars, tyres or heavier equipment.

We are located in Sodankylä, a lively town surrounded by skiing resorts and offering great access thanks to the international airports of Rovaniemi, Ivalo and Kittilä, all within short driving distance.  

The winter testing season starts in November and testing continues until April

. 

TRACKS IN 2025 

All tracks on solid ground

All our tracks are gravel-based, offering safety for users and extended testing season. 

As test surface snow, ice and asphalt are offered. The area is fenced, and remotely operated gates provide both privacy and ease of use.  

FACILITES IN 2025

Modern facilities

The main 530m² facility was build in 2017 and offers offices, meeting rooms and a vast garage. 

Additionally there are six climatized containers with electric charging post available.
